My screams are gummy, sticky, from slipping through some honey-slicked part of my mind. (Sorry, can you turn around).
I see it squirming around, finding form, skin taut and eventually, teetering from the edge of my lips, I realise. (We’re too far apart)
Touch me, (I’m trying) is a group exhibition by Ronnie Danaher, Sam Lanchin, Lily Lavorato, Samra Mayanja, and K Ross Walker, queer artist friends working across video, installation, photography, sculpture and drawing. The exhibition screams out to be touched, licked, kissed, gently, with playful material languages consisting of carved clay, layered drawings, stained-glass, text and video. Taking as a core theme our experiences of sensuality and shame, we lose ourselves, doom scrolling, hedonistic histories, non-human encounters, searching for tender refuge in a disintegrating world.
