Dataism Confessional

In 2020, I was selected by arebyte Gallery for Hotel Generation, their artist development programme, where my research took me on an exploration of “Dataism”— a proposed religion devoted to the worship of data. Following this, I created a web-based work called Dataism Confessional (2021), which was shown on arebyte on Screen, the gallery’s digital platform. I then developed this research into my first large scale solo show, iConfess, at Assembly House in Leeds (2022), which was funded by a project grant from Arts Council England and Leeds Inspired.
